Improving on Efficiency: Toro's New PSN+ Series Nozzle

Featuring Toro's Debris Guide backflow prevention technology, the PSN+ Series Nozzle provides water savings and better irrigation efficiency.

The Toro Company made one of the most efficient nozzles on the market even better for both contractors and homeowners. Known for using 33 percent less water than traditional spray nozzles, the PSN+ Series Nozzle now features Debris Guard, Toro’s exclusive backflow prevention technology.

Debris Guard blocks debris from flowing back into the nozzle at the end of the irrigation cycle. This innovative solution to a common industry challenge reduces hassles with clogging, giving irrigation contractors even more flexibility when installing or retrofitting systems and offering peace of mind for homeowners.

“No matter the landscape, even in sandy environments, water will flow through the PSN+ Series Nozzles,” said Peter Lackner, marketing manager for Toro’s Precision Irrigation Business. “Debris Guard builds on the unmatched water saving technology of these nozzles, providing a dependable and efficient product that both contractors and homeowners can count on.”

PSN+ Series Nozzles feature patented H2O chip technology that creates a fast-oscillating spray of water. The uniform droplets provide consistent coverage with less water waste. Independent testing found that they’re one of the most efficient fixed spray nozzles on the market today.

“PSN+ Series Nozzles with Debris Guard are another great addition to our WaterSmart products,” Lackner said. “They are easy-to-install and provide lasting performance all while saving water.”

Like all Toro WaterSmart products, PSN+ Series Nozzles are versatile and can be retrofit or added to any system and any brand of spray head to provide water savings and better irrigation efficiency while maintaining healthy landscapes.
