STIHL introduced the all-new HSA 140 R/T and HSA 150 R/T hedge trimmers, engineered to provide professionals with professional-level versatility and performance.
Both models feature an onboard battery slot. Weighing nearly 10 lbs. without an AP 200 S battery, the trimmers are lightweight, designed for seamless operation, and reduce the need for fuel.
The HSA 140 R/T (replacing the HSA 130 R/T) is designed for tackling anything from heavy pruning to fine trimming, giving landscapers the choice between bulk or precision pruning.
The HSA 140 R boasts high torque, low blade speed, and wide tooth spacing for cutting through thick growth with ease, and is the most powerful double-sided battery-powered hedge trimmer with 24” diamond ground cutting blades (as compared to the HSA 140T/HSA 150T), while the HSA 140 T delivers a high blade speed of up to 5,000 strokes per minute for fine, detailed cuts with minimal fraying.
Equipped with multi-function handles, both trimmers offer ergonomic, lightweight control and maneuverability, providing comfort and efficiency for long workdays. Both models offer gas-like power and performance, rivaling the STIHL HS 82.
The HSA 150 R/T is designed to take trimming efficiency to the next level with its attached leaf rake, effortlessly collecting debris and leaving the workspace clean. Designed with single-sided blades for one-directional cutting, it’s for trimming larger, overgrown hedges and shrubs. This trimmer’s blades can power through 3,900-5,000 strokes per minute for a range of applications and is the go-to tool for pros handling effective rejuvenation jobs that demand extra power.
The HSA 150 R/T offers a power equivalent to the gasoline-powered HS 87, further standing out with low noise and no exhaust emissions. This model comes in at a 30” or 40” in blade length for options based on cost and user application.
